Default Must Own DVDs - films that matter

Try not to think of this as your favourite movies, but more or less films that have had something important to say or maybe revolutionalised cinema, List of 10, can cross choose films too so don't worry if someone else has something you wanna pick too, I'll start with mine first then (obvs)

    01. Fight Club - Blu Ray of this is excellent and it still looks cutting edge today.
    02. Toy Story 2 - I know what you're thinking, but for me this outshines the original.
    03. Full Metal Jacket - The scene where the camera moves through the battlefield.
    04. The Shining - A look at fear from someone you should trust.
    05. Rocky (1971) - The most heartfelt boxing movie ever.
    06. Requiem For A Dream - I liked it, but couldn't watch it again.
    07. Seven - Probably the most shocking ending to a film I can recall.
    08. The Godfather Part 2 - You see a young almost faultless man turn cold, amazing movie.
    09. The Matrix - At the time I hadn't seen anything quite like it.
    10. Terminator 2 - James Cameron has alot to answer for in general, but this is probably my fav movie of all time.

Movies I must have on DVD most I must have on dvr as well

    Millers crossing
    No country for old men
    Kalifornia
    Se7en
    Time bandits
    Jaws
    Close encounters
    National Lampoons Christmas Vacation
    The first X-files movie
Bad Boys or Total Recal it's a tuffy

Edit: I just read your list, how can you have reqeium for a dream on your list and then say you can't watch it again? Doesn't really fit the logical reason for purchasing a DVD. unless this is a list of DVD's we want people to see on your shelf.
That's the reason that movie is on my top 10 movie list and not this one

I saw the devil is an amazing film here's my list

Toy Story franchise- one of the most heart warming group of films ever. And if you don't get at least testy eyed during 3 you have no soul.

Terminator 2- one of the best sci fi films made.

The incredibles- visually stunning and great superhero film

No country for old men- Has one of the greatest villains ever put on celluloid

13 Assasins- gorgeous film all I can say

The matrix- revolutionized cinema and still gets parodied 12 years later

Edward scissorhands- great visuals and actually a touching story

The dark knight - you know why.

Back to the future- just a great film

The room- probably THE funniest non comedy ever.
